Leander ISD’s 6A high school marching bands are headed to state!
After some adjustments to the competition due to weather on Saturday, Oct. 25, LISD bands took the top two spots of the 6A area round finals with Vista Ridge HS in 1st place and Vandegrift HS in 2nd place.
Congratulations to all of the students, high school and middle school directors, and the parents for making this outstanding accomplishment possible.
The Ranger Band and the Viper Band will take the field at the San Antonio Alamodome for the preliminary round on Monday, Nov. 3, with the finals taking place the following day on Tuesday, Nov. 4.
