Kindergartener Olivia Rogers at Mason Elementary School is the Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week.
One day during Writing Center time, Olivia wrote a letter to the students in her class reminding them to demonstrate the Mustang Way by being principled, raising their hands and waiting for their turn to speak. Olivia herself displays the ethical principles of integrity, fairness, respect for others and accountability.
“Olivia consistently displays the IB Action cycle of Reflect, Choose, and Act in the classroom and our school community,” Teacher Geeta Erickson said. “These leadership qualities have improved our learning environment through empathy, communication and inclusion. Continue making a difference in our community, Olivia!”
Olivia likes to read, write, swim and climb. She loves to be outside and loves animals. She is currently taking tap dancing lessons.
