Leander ISD would like to recognize Alex Underwood from Cedar Park Middle School as the Student-Athlete of the Week.
An eighth-grade standout on the Leopard football team, Alex is also looking ahead to playing basketball, track and soccer in the coming seasons. Outside of his busy athletic schedule, Alex is also a member of Varsity Choir and challenges himself in the classroom by taking advanced courses.
Cedar Park Middle School football coach Tom Garza describes “Alex is a hard-working and dedicated athlete,” CPMS football coach Tom Garza said. “His work ethic is contagious and we enjoy coaching athletes like him.”
