Fabulous when he walks in and out the door, #1LISD celebrates Parker Davis as this week’s Student-Athlete of the Week.
Parker plays football and participates in track and field at Canyon Ridge Middle School. Not only does he two-way start for the Eagles football team this year, but Parker also medaled in both the shot and discus and ran the 200-meter dash last year. The eighth-grader consistently makes the all-A honor roll. Because of that, the National Junior Honor Society recognizes Parker as a member. For the past two years, he helps and supports other students as a PE PAL (Peer Assistance & Leadership).
“Parker Davis is truly an outstanding young man!” Canyon Ridge MS Boys Athletic Coordinator Seth Simmons said. “As a PE PAL, Parker brings joy and happiness to our students every day. His kindness, thoughtfulness, and focus helps our students have fun in PE.
“As an athlete, Parker leads by example on and off the field. He gives his best effort in all that he does. His pursuit of excellence is the gold standard at CRMS and admired by all. It is an honor to coach Parker Davis!”
Valued beyond measure, Way to go, Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week Parker Davis.
