Seventh grader Michael Lord from Danielson Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Michael is a member of the Bearkat football, basketball and track and field teams. He holds the record for single season touchdowns for a DMS seventh grade football player.
Danielson Middle School’s Boys Athletic Coordinator Rustin Feller said that Michael has been an integral part of the success that the seventh grade boys athletics teams experienced this school year.
“Michael has exceptional raw athletic talent! More importantly, he is an exceptional young man and student,” Feller said. “He excels in the classroom and positively represents our program, his family and himself in everything he does. We are lucky to have Michael at Danielson!”
Michael is also an A/B Honor Roll student and a regional choir participant.
