Eighth Grader Griffin Sisk from Leander Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Griffin is a member of the Tiger football, basketball, track and soccer teams.
“Griffin is just a great person who happens to be an exceptional athlete,” Boys Athletic Coordinator Greg Steger said. “His hard work and leadership skills are assets that will take him far in life. He is also a great team player, always encouraging others without taking credit for himself.”
Griffin is a member of the National Junior Honor Society and makes the A honor roll every six weeks. He is also a member and great helper of the Unified Pals program.
