Senior Lauren Tin from Vandegrift High School is the first Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week for the 2023-24 school year.
Lauren is a senior team captain on the Vandegrift varsity tennis team. Lauren recently led the Lady Vipers to victory in the Senior Day Match against Wimberley High School. When not competing for VHS, Lauren is also an active competitor in the United States Tennis Association.
“Lauren is a strong, positive and disciplined member of our team,” Vandegrift’s Head Tennis Coach Garrett Pekar said. “She never gives up on herself or her friends.”
Lauren is also a member of the Key Club and the National Honor Society.
