Olivia Miller, a fifth-grade student at Laura Welch Bush Elementary, is this week’s LISD Super Kid. Her “superpower” is #5 – Concern for Others.

Olivia is an incredible friend to all. No matter the day, situation or mood, she will drop what she is doing to help others. The epitome of inclusivity, it’s second nature for Olivia to work to make those around her joyful and successful. Teachers and students can always rely on Olivia to do the right thing and stand up for herself and those around her, both inside and outside the classroom.

“Olivia lights up the room and is a delight to teach and learn from,” Teacher Ann Scott said. “She is a hard-worker who balances many things, including taking time to help others. She is a natural leader, leading with grace and positivity each and every day.”

Olivia also participates in flag football on the “Texans” team, is a member of Heart 2 Heart, a 5th-grade girls’ group, and is a QUEST student.

Congratulations, Olivia! Thank you for being a shining example for Bush as an LISD Super Kid!
