From May 6-10, Leander ISD is celebrating Teacher Appreciation Week!
Public education depends on the critical work of teachers. In Leander ISD, we have thousands of highly skilled and specialized educators, from the teachers who guide our kindergarten classrooms to our Career and Technical Education instructors to our Advanced Placement instructors and band directors, and every teacher in between.
We are grateful for every teacher who takes the time to not only effectively communicate instructional material but also to inspire their students toward taking charge of their own learning. The district could not function without the passion and dedication of these individuals. Every day, their work has a positive impact on not only their students’ futures but also the future of the world.
