Leadership Cedar Park Celebrates Education Day with Leander ISD

Education Day offered Leander ISD the chance to show off its dedication to innovation Thursday. Local business leaders with Leadership Cedar Park toured the district and explored its Career and Technical Education programs.

Students with the INCubator and Broadcast Journalism programs shared intriguing details about their student-led and inspired projects, how these programs are helping them become stronger leaders in their community, and how they can use these skills in the future.

Large, multi-functional areas at Danielson Middle School provided insight as to how LISD is focusing on innovative and collaborative environments, extending from elementary all the way through high school. These spaces will provide all of the middle-schoolers the chance to work together, breaking the constraints of grade-level or age.
