With about a week to go before the class of 2020 celebrates graduation at Gupton Stadium, the district released more details about how the events will operate safely and within public health guidelines, restricting crowd sizes to 100 people or less.

The graduate will enter the stadium with up to eight family members to take part in a personal graduation ceremony that includes walking across a stage and posing for a photograph. The graduate’s name will be called and they will walk across the stage to receive their diploma cover presented by their parents. We will capture it all with professional photography and videography. As they exit the concourse, graduates will pose for additional photos and receive two graduation ceremony programs.  Graduation portraits and a video compilation will be shared with graduates later in the summer. Please read carefully so you know what to expect throughout the celebration.

Due to the new format, families will not need to obtain tickets. High schools will send more details out to graduations next week.
