Leander ISD is proud to announce Stiles Middle School student Oliva Yoo as the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Olivia is an Advanced Art student at SMS. The eighth grader had her work for the PTA Reflections “Heros Around Me” win at the state level and is currently competing for the national level. In March, she finished as a semifinalist in the Toyota “Dream Your Car” contest.
“Olivia is an outstanding role model as well as an AP student.” art teacher Kellie Bruce said. “She is passionate about her work and consistently pushes herself to try new methods and techniques in class.”
