Leander ISD students from Cedar Park High School, Rouse High School and Vandegrift High School are celebrating their success at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) National Leadership Conference held July 2-6 in Denver.

Camden Michalek and Cary Evans of Cedar Park High School earned the highly acclaimed first place finish in Interior Design Level 3 at NCL and earned gold medals from Texas FCCLA.

Rouse students Ayla Murphy, Amy Valdovino and Mya Barry competed in Chapter Service Project Portfolio Level 3, closing out the competition with a top 10 performance and a gold medal from Texas FCCLA.

Vandegrift student Lesley Jum competed in Entrepreneurship Level 2 with a cosmetology school proposal. She also had a top 10 finish at NCL and earned a gold medal from Texas FCCLA.

Congratulations to all our Leander ISD students for proudly representing Texas at the 2023 FCCLA National Leadership Conference. Thank you to chapter advisors Deanna Bentley, Jodi Garner and Katie Travis for spending part of their summer serving LISD FCCLA students.
