Eighth grader Peyton Franklin at Stiles Middle School is the Leander ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week.
According to Principles of Arts and AV Teacher Lisa Lafond, Peyton’s enthusiasm towards his learning and application of skills learned can be seen on a daily basis. He has been working on an animation project that he’s very proud of and gives updates every morning on his progress.
“Despite being in a class later in the day, Peyton brings an energy that revives me and motivates those around him,” Lafond said. “He’s a pleasure and asset to have in the class.”
Even though Peyton keeps very busy with Advanced Theater and other classes, he always carves out time to work on his Adobe skills outside of class.
