Senior Raegan Schwab at Leander High School is the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week.
Raegan has served as the President of Leander Future Farmers of America (FFA). She has also been a member of the livestock show team with a breeding heifer, a member of the Veterinary Medical Career Development Event (CDE) team and a member of the FFA radio broadcast team. She is currently in Practicum of Veterinary Medicine working towards earning a Veterinary Assistant Level 1 certification. She is also a member of the National Technical Honor Society.
“Raegan’s passion for animal science is seen in her work in the livestock barn and in her veterinary internship,” Agriculture Science Teacher Emily Veraa said. “She serves as a mentors to other students while achieving her goals.”
