Super School Visits

Block House Creek Elementary

Morning routines help Block House Creek Elementary students start the day off right! Join LISD Board Vice President Gloria Gonzales-Dholakia, Ph.D. during her #SuperSchoolVisit with the Bears. At its center, mornings include intentional engagement with students, establishing a caring community conducive to learning.

Super School Visits started as an effort to see how schools and staff were coping with the challenges of this school year. Through walking hallways, we are discovering not only each campus’ resilience but also its unique story. Super School Visits premiere Wednesdays and Sundays.

RETURNING Student Verification and NEW student Registration for 2021-22 is Now Open!

To provide accurate staffing, classrooms, and resources for our students we are asking our families to register/verify student information earlier than usual this year and we need your help! CURRENT student verification and NEW student registration can be found here. It only takes a few minutes to complete, so please sign up your students today!

We also need help spreading the word with your friends and neighbors and you are our greatest advocates! Please share the news in passing, playing at the park, on social media, HOA meetings, and newsletters, in any way you can think of to make sure we have what we need for each of our kids next year. Thank you for your help with this endeavor!

Questions about PACE Math?

PACE Math considerations for the 2021-22 school year are as follows:

Current PACE Math Students for 3rd – 7th Grade
Current PACE math students will continue to roll up to the next grade level of PACE Math course unless there has been prior discussion of altering the student’s course selection for next year.

New-to-PACE for 4th – 7th Grade
Campuses will be looking at a collection of district and campus data, as well as teacher input, to make decisions in conjunction with the student and parent about placement in PACE.

New-to-District Students for 4th – 7th Grade
Students who are enrolling in LISD and have documentation/transcript from the previous school regarding participation in an advanced math course/program should be placed in PACE Math.

Families who have questions about PACE Mathematics and Advanced Mathematics Pathways can contact their child’s math teacher.
