Our schools plant the seeds for learning early with three and four-year-old pre-K programs. Learning happens with play. Giddens Elementary School brings students outside to play areas and gardens. Our next stop on our tour took us to a phonics and reading lesson for first grade. See how teachers work with students in small groups to help meet the needs of individual learners. Finally, we ended our tour with students in their circle family. Cultivating early learners, meeting the needs of individual students, and focusing on the whole child makes Giddens another shining example of our #1LISD.
