Two Cedar Park Middle School 8th-grade students have been invited to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City this summer in the 2017 Middle School Honors Performance Series.
Aidan Brown and Will Lambert were accepted into the program by showing a history of high achievement on their instruments, receiving a nomination by their teacher, and submitting a taped performance.
The students will spend their week in New York City preparing for their performance under the direction of master conductors, as well as experiencing the sights and performance arts in New York City.
