Third grader and Plain Elementary student Alyssa Ignal is this week’s Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week as a result of her demonstrated pursuit of excellence.
Alyssa’s teacher, Alex Malone, said that in just the first three days of school, Alyssa was already standing out by going out of her way to help other students all over campus, from the classroom to the playground.
“I am so glad to have Alyssa in my class,” Malone said. “She is the embodiment of the culture of excellence we are building in my classroom.”
Alyssa is on the competitive Tumble and Cheer team, and volunteers with Generation Serve. She loves concerts and pedicures.
