Carson Miller finished in first place in the opening cross country meet of the 2022-23 school year. This marks the start of a winning season for Carson not only on the Spartan cross country team – but also on the football, basketball, track and soccer teams.

Carson is an eighth grade student at Stiles Middle School and the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week. He was the only male athlete at Stiles to participate in all five sports in the 2021-22 school year and plans to participate in all five sports again this year.

“Carson is an incredibly hard worker in addition to being a very gifted athlete,” SMS Coach Jordan Aleskin said. “Carson is a talented kid who is always wanting to be the best he can be no matter the season. He truly wants to be great and understands the value of working hard every day in order to reach his goals.”

Carson’s performance in the first football game of the season included three touchdown runs and multiple tackles on defense, all which helped lead his team to victory.

In addition to his outstanding performance in sports, Carson takes advanced language arts and social studies classes, along with Spanish I.

“I have no doubt Carson will continue to do great things this year as well as years to come,” Aleskin said. “The Stiles coaching staff sincerely appreciate Carson’s talent, commitment, and work ethic.”
