An attitude of gratitude is making Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week Justin Lee exceptional!
Justin represents Danielson Middle School on the Bearkat cross country and basketball teams. The straight-A seventh-grader recently received the campus’ Stacy K. Award. Faculty chooses a student for the honor during each grading period. DMS Boys Athletic Coordinator Rustin Feller characterizes Justin’s desire to succeed in both his academic and athletic endeavors as second to none.
“Justin is an incredible young man!” he said. “He truly cares about making the people around him better and feel appreciated. Justin is the only student I’ve had that randomly sends emails to his teachers saying, ‘thank you,’ for being his teacher. He represents the Stacy K. Way of striving to positively Invest, Encourage, and Impact his world.”
In the spring, Justin plans on running track and playing soccer.
