Senior Avery Clevlen from Vandegrift High School is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Avery serves as the Lieutenant Colonel for the Legacies Dance Team and is a remarkable dancer and leader. In addition to leading the team, she is a member of National Honor Society and PALS. Avery has received many solo awards throughout her time on Legacies at the Regional and State level. This year at the State competition in Houston, she was awarded 1st place for her solo performance. She was also recently selected by her peers as the Second to None award recipient.
“Avery is an exceptional student that is known for her unparalleled work ethic and dedication. Her leadership on the team is marked by her commitment to excellence and her ability to motivate and inspire others,” Legacies Dance Directors Holly Lyons and Alexa Blair-Olson said. “She is well loved and respected by her peers and helps to create a positive environment for those around her.”
