The cat’s meow! We’re proud to recognize Ace Vestal as Leander ISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week!
Ace works hard to represent LISD in the Certified Veterinarian Assistant (CVA) certification program. The senior at Leander High School is taking Practicum in Veterinary Medicine. Through this course, Ace is spending this year as an intern at Hill Country Veterinary hospital. The experience offers learning hands-on skills from industry professionals.
“Ace approaches the CVA program with enthusiasm and professionalism,” LHS Agriculture Science Teacher Emily Veraa said. “Always ready to volunteer and learn new skills and ideas, I love the passion they share with the class and clinical experience.”
