LISD Board of Trustees Approves One-Time Appreciation Payment For Staff
Acknowledging the dedicated service of teachers and staff to the community’s students, at the Oct. 24 meeting, the Leander ISD Board of Trustees approved a one-time employee appreciation payment of $1,000 for eligible full-time employees and $500 for eligible part-time employees, set to be disbursed in December 2024.

Vandegrift, Vista Ridge Bands Qualify for Return Trip to State Competition
All roads lead to state!
With the results out of the 6A marching band area round, Vandegrift and Vista Ridge join #1LISD’s four 5A schools with a ticket to San Antonio. LISD bands took the top two spots of the 6A area round finals with Vandegrift HS in 1st place and Vista Ridge HS in 2nd place.
