Dedicating North Elementary School

Leander ISD held a dedication ceremony Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 for its 29th elementary school, North Elementary School, which opened in Fall 2022. In her 22-year career in Leander ISD, the school’s namesake, Carol Ann North, taught kindergarten at Block House Creek and Knowles elementary schools, and Pre-K at Whitestone Elementary.

Dedicating Tarvin Elementary School

Leander ISD held a dedication ceremony Saturday, Oct. 15, 2022 for its 28th elementary school, Tarvin Elementary School, which opened in Fall 2021. The school’s namesake, Nancy Tarvin, the former executive directory of elementary curriculum, retired in 2016 after 25 years of service in Leander ISD.
