Leander ISD is proud to announce Leander High School’s Eli Gehman as the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week. Eli is a senior on the Lion football team and is a 3-year letterman and captain on the Lion soccer team. Eli is also a leader in FCA and a member of the National Honor Society. His dedication to academics earned Eli a spot on the THSCA Academic All-State and District 13-6A Academic All-District teams.
“Eli is a great athlete and great young man,” LHS football coach Kris Price said. “He serves as a positive role model for students and athletes in our building. His leadership abilities, on-and-off the field, have made an impact on our programs that will be the foundation of future success.”
“Eli is a great leader to the team on the field as well as in the classroom,” LHS soccer Coach, Russ Girard added.
