Leander ISD will no longer pursue a permit application with US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) to build a secondary access road to Vandegrift High School and Four Points Middle School. For the past 15 years, the district has been engaged with USFWS, seeking construction for the road to provide emergency access.

House Bill 496 in 2019 requires Texas school districts to offer bleeding control training to students in grades 7–12. We’re organizing some voluntary training sessions for our students. Each session can take up to 100 7th-12th-grade students from each LISD feeder pattern.
