Leander ISD students have thousands of books at their fingertips — both on campus and online.
Students can browse and check out books through their campus library using the Destiny Library Catalog or access eBooks and audiobooks through LISD’s Sora Digital Library. With options available anytime and anywhere, students are encouraged to find books that match their interests, explore something new and make reading part of their routine outside the classroom.
Reading beyond the school day can help students strengthen vocabulary, build reading stamina and continue developing skills that support learning across subjects. Whether it’s a favorite series, a new topic or an audiobook on the go, your next great adventure is just a book away!
Directions for accessing Sora are available in both English and Spanish.
Leander ISD Library Services also works to partner with parents and guardians in supporting their students. Through the Library Services webpage and its Frequently Asked Questions section, families can learn how to:
- Access and browse the district’s library catalogs
- View books their student currently has checked out through Destiny
- View their student’s activity in the Sora Digital Library
- Review community notifications of library purchases
Families with additional questions about library services can contact their campus librarian or Becky Calzada, District Library Coordinator.
