This week’s Leander ISD Staff Spotlight is the Transportation Team who drive the Bus 486 route to Rutledge, Stiles and Vista Ridge.
Parent Elissa Lindsey said that her daughter has a long ride to and from school, and can’t wait to get on the bus each morning to spend time with the Bus 486 transportation team. She expresses disappointment when she can’t ride with them due to school activities.
“My middle schooler had the pleasure of riding last year with Ms. Donna and Mr. Jesus on Bus 486. They were a dynamite team. This year, she literally shouted with excitement that Mr. Jesus was continuing as her bus aide. He is the kindest and friendliest man, and he takes such amazing care of our students on 486,” Lindsey said. “Although the drivers have switched out a few times this year due to staffing needs, every driver on Bus 486 has been absolutely phenomenal. Mr. Mo, Mr. David, Ms. Cynthia and Ms. Charmaine, along with Bus Instructional Aide Jesus, are top notch!”
Lindsey said that it’s a great feeling to know that she and her husband are putting their daughter on the bus each day with such caring, kind individuals who take such pride in their jobs and care so much for their students on 486.
