The smile on that face says it all! Leander ISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week Vincent DeLeon beams with excellence.
As a sixth-grader at Running Brushy Middle School, Vincent is taking Leadership. The class prepares students for public speaking and introduces them to the college readiness program AVID. A strong helper with an always-positive attitude, Vincent demonstrates great enthusiasm for learning. His teacher Shannon Harris says he’s the peacekeeper among his peers.
“Vincent shows exemplary leadership skills,” Harris said. “He supports his classmates and consistently works to do his absolute best.”
At the end of the day, you can spot Vincent helping his math teacher Ms. McLelan clean up. Outside of school, he plays baseball with Tier 1.

¡La sonrisa en su rostro lo dice todo! Vincent DeLeon estudiante destacado de CTE – Educación Técnica y Profesional de Leander ISD, brilla por su excelencia.
Como estudiante de 6° grado en la Escuela Secundaria Running Brushy, Vincent está tomando la clase de Leadership (Liderazgo). Esta clase prepara a los estudiantes para hablar en público y los introduce al programa de preparación universitaria AVID. Un gran ayudante y siempre con actitud positiva, Vincent demuestra un gran entusiasmo por aprender. Su maestra Shannon Harris, dice que es él quien mantiene la calma entre sus compañeros.
“Vincent demuestra habilidades de liderazgo ejemplares”, dijo Harris. “Él apoya a sus compañeros y de forma consistente siempre da lo mejor de sí mismo”.
Al final del día ustedes pueden ver a Vincent ayudando a la maestra de matemáticas, Ms. McLelan a organizar la clase. Por fuera de la escuela, Vincent juega béisbol con Tier 1.
