One of the greatest gifts a person can give is time. Roxanne Adams lives and breathes these words as she has volunteered, over the course of a decade, at her children’s schools – Vista Ridge High School, Reagan Elementary, and Henry Middle School.

Though both her kids have graduated, she routinely volunteers 30-40 hours providing office support, helping with textbooks, assisting with DECA, and volunteer appreciation. Adams does it all.

“Roxanne Adams is the world’s greatest volunteer. She’s the epitome of someone whose actions inspire and encourage you to be a better version of yourself. We all want to be Roxanne when we grow up,” said principal Paul Johnson. “She never asks for anything or wants attention, but her kindness speaks volumes for everyone.”

Because of her unwavering commitment in service to students, Leander ISD recognizes this Roxanne Adams as Volunteer of the Week.
