Third grader Asher Tans at Bagdad Elementary is the Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week.
According to his teacher, Rebecca Dacke, Asher has become a leader in his class, holding himself and others to high expectations.
“Asher is always willing to help the teacher or a classmate, and shows integrity in everything he does. He is always willing to rally his class and inspires them to do their best work,” Dacke said. “He always offers to help and connect his own life stories to what we’re learning in the classroom.”
Asher is interested in coding and is learning Python. He likes to do 3D art with his dad, loves playing videogames and football, and enjoys playing with friends, watching anime and riding his hoverboard.
