Fifth Grader John Murphy at Knowles Elementary School is the Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week!
According to his teacher, Gabriela Gamboa, John is honest when he doesn’t know what to do or when he doesn’t understand something. He consistently make positive decisions, even when no one is watching him. Every morning he says the pledge of Allegiance to the USA and Texas with fervor. He respects the answers of his classmates even if their answers are not correct.
“John is very sociable with all his classmates, helps without hesitation and never takes no for an answer,” Gamboa said. “When he finishes his activities early he is always helping someone else.”
John enjoys musical theater and martial arts, and is interested in math, history, politics and physics.
