A volley of praise for Leander ISD’s Student-Athlete of the Week Madelyn Lee!
In her seventh grade year at Running Brushy Middle School, Madelyn has impressed the coaches with her ambition to play volleyball and basketball as well as run cross country and track this year. Her incredible work ethic and leadership all through the spring in pre-athletics, and now in the fall, as an athlete, shows her die-hard dedication. She works out every day no matter what. She leads by example for all her peers, and she takes care of her business in the classroom.
“Madelyn Lee stands out to me because she is a kid that is determined to be better and get better on her own,” RBMS Girls’ Athletic Coordinator Kandice Bell said. “She works hard when no one is watching and leads others to work out with her.”
