Rouse High School senior Dax Dalton has been named Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week. Dalton is a four-year member of the Raiders football and track programs. A two-year football letterman and starter, Dalton leads the team in interceptions this season and is currently third in tackles. Dalton credits his teammates, who inspire him, and who he calls his family. Rouse Head Football Coach Josh Mann describes Dax as “a leader on and off the field, who is consistently a role model for all of his peers.”

 In the classroom, Dax is currently ranked 35th out of 606 seniors in his graduating class and is a member of the National Honor Society. After high school, he hopes to attend the University of Texas at Austin to study engineering. Leander ISD is proud to salute Dax Dalton as Student-Athlete of the Week.
