Irre-GRACE-able! We’re celebrating this week’s Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week Sarah (Grace) Grissom!

As a Rouse High School junior, Grace plays volleyball for the Lady Raiders. Not only does Grace show dedication to athletics, but she also takes her academics seriously. For instance, she serves as a member of National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society and Student Council.

“A great student-athlete, Grace commits 100% to the program,” Rouse HS head volleyball coach Jacob Thompson said. “She gives her best effort, dedicated in everything she does. She comes in every day and works hard with a super positive attitude.”

By the same token, Grace furthered her commitment to athletics. She became a student manager for the Lady Raider basketball team. Lori McDonald, Rouse HS Head Girls Basketball Coach, believes Grace provides an integral part of the girls basketball program.

“Her gracious heart, positive attitude, and service to others has been a true asset,” she said.
