Rouse High School’s record-breaking athlete and future Houston Baptist University (HBU) Husky Isaiah Cash is taking a bite out of success as the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Isaiah, a senior on the Raider football and track and field teams, was a first-team all-district safety and academic all-district selection. His hard work on the field and in the classroom earned him a scholarship to play football at HBU. Before track season was put on hold, Isaiah was having an outstanding season and had already set three new school records in three different events!
“Isaiah is a very unique athlete,” Rouse Raider boys track coach Kevin Ellison said. “He is blessed on so many levels and always credits his outstanding support system for his successes. Isaiah leads our track program by example.”
