Social Communication Supports and Services (SCSS) Teacher Erica Talasek is the Leander ISD Staff Spotlight of the Week.
Erica serves at Winkley Elementary as an SCSS teacher, but her outreach extends far beyond that single program. According to her coworkers, it can be a challenge to find her during the day because she’s all over the building supporting learners and offering help to other teachers.
Principal Erin Uhlaender said that Erica is the definition of a team player.
“Erica truly is a light at Winkley and an advocate for each and every learner,” Uhlaender said. “She has a big heart for kiddos and goes above and beyond to build relationships with them.”
