Leander High School Senior Hunter Crozier is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Hunter is an active member of the LHS Theatre Department and serves as a Thespian House Leader. This summer, he was awarded Best Lead Actor for his role in “Evil Dead: The Musical” at Stagedoor Manor Performing Arts Training Center in New York. Additionally, he received both All-Star Cast and Honorable Mention Cast awards for his performance in LHS’s One Act Play, “Eurydice”.
“Hunter is the kind of student every Theatre program loves to have: he’s reliable, incredibly driven and jumps in to help at a moment’s notice,” Theatre Arts Teacher Campbell Duncan said. “He will leave a gigantic hole in our LHS Theatre heart when he graduates.”
When Hunter isn’t excelling on the stage he is just as successful in the classroom, earning a spot on the honor roll and taking multiple advanced courses. Out of school, Hunter is an Eagle Scout, plays hockey on a club league and is pursuing his pilot’s license.
