Leander ISD is proud to recognize Cedar Park Middle School’s Ava Callaway as the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Ava is a two-year member of the CPMS Varsity Treble Choir and is a constant leader and positive representative of the choir program in the community. The eighth-grade standout works to help her peers to be successful and is always willing to discuss musical ideas with her teachers. In addition to her work in choir, Ava is a member of the 8th grade volleyball team.
“Ava is a kind, hard-working and responsible person,” CPMS Choir Director Kara Kasberg said. “Her kindness to others in class is matched by her outstanding musical leadership abilities. I am thankful that she is one of the many amazing members of the choir program.”
