Junior Aiden Spicer from Leander High School is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Aiden is a member of the Lion Band Wind Ensemble and serves as President, Section Leader and Captain. This summer, he organized multiple events for band students, including History Night.
LHS Assistant Band Director Amanda Petro said that Aiden is a hardworking, encouraging and caring leader in the Leander Band.
“Aiden is a very talented musician and remains humble and helpful to his peers in the program, regardless of ensemble, instrument or year in school,” Petro said. “Aiden continues to be innovative, lead with integrity and include all in the program, personifying our ‘Big 3’ in the Leander Band. I am proud to have Aiden in our band program and honored to be one of his teachers in his musical and academic journey.”
