Raise the curtain on this week’s Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Brenna Kenney!

Brenna not only pours her time & energy into Rouse High School theatre, but also campus life at Raider Nation. In theatre, the senior represents Rouse Theatre as a Texas State Thespian Officer for the International Thespian Society. She also leads Rouse Theatre’s Thespian Society Troupe 7679 as president.

Beyond the playhouse, Brenna is a National Honor Society member. She also supports and guides the student organization PALS (Peer Assistance Leadership and Service) as president. Furthermore, Brenna makes the announcements during pep rallies.

“Brenna Kenney works hard, shows dedication and drive in all her classes and rehearsals,” Rouse HS Theatre Director Cheryl Painter said. “Her busy schedule does not affect her grades as she is in the top 10 percent of her class. A model leader, she always has a smile on her face, the first to volunteer even for the hard jobs. Brenna exemplifies the pride and dedication of Rouse Theatre.”

All the world’s her stage! Bravo, Brenna Kenney — #1LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!

Recently, Brenna played the role of the sullen daughter Marya in The Government Inspector.
