Showing his spots, there’s hardly a thing we wanna change about Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week David Cooper!

The Cedar Park Middle School seventh-grader plays football for the Leopards. Recently, he made the basketball team and plans on playing soccer and running track in the spring. Outside of athletics, David represents on the CPMS Principal’s Advisory Committee. Plus, he sings with CPMS choir. During Friday night football, David is a ball boy for the Cedar Park High School Timberwolves! On top of all of those great things, he is also a straight-A student. Way to go, David!

“Not only a leader for our seventh-grade group of athletes, David is a very talented athlete,” CPMS boys athletic coordinator Tom Garza said. “More importantly, David helps and encourages other athletes, proving invaluable to our team here at Cedar Park Middle School.  He takes care of business in the classroom and pushes his teammates to challenge themselves. I appreciate his willingness to lead and make our team better.”

Go! Fight! Win! We’re proud to call David Cooper #1LISD Student-Athlete of the Week!
