Leander ISD is proud to name Rouse High School’s Julia Hernandez as the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Julia is a member of the Rouse Varsity Choir, IntoneNation Show Choir and the cast of multiple musicals, including In the Heights and Shrek the Musical. She is also studying AP Music Theory.
Last year, Julia qualified for the Texas State Solo Contest and she is competing once again this year. She is part of the IntoneNation Leadership team, a student director and performer in this year’s all school musical production of Bring it On and a student director to the beginning choir.
“Julia is a friend, leader and encourager to her directors and peers,” said RHS Choir Director Brenda Justice . “She is an extremely talented musician and she is tenacious regarding her pursuit of excellence. Julia gives 110% and inspires those around her to do so as well. We are honored to have Julia as a member of our Raider Choir community and family.”
