Leander ISD is proud to name Rouse High School’s Savanna Alder as the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Month.
Savanna is a senior member of the Rouse Royals who has served in a leadership position for two of the three years she’s performed with the Royals. A second lieutenant her junior year and captain in 2017–18, Savanna was recently selected as an All-State Dancer by the Texas Dance Educators Association.
The Rouse standout is also involved in PALS and National Honor Society.
“Savanna is an outstanding leader both on Royals and in the classroom,” said Royals Dance Director Amy McKee. “She works tirelessly to ensure her team is prepared to reach their goals. She comes to practice every day ready to work and ready to make her team better. “
