Leander ISD is proud to recognize Cedar Park High School’s Evan Vines as our LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
A standout thespian, Evan has had multiple starring roles in CPHS plays: he took on the role of Emcee in Cabaret, Herald in the UIL One Act Play, Marat Sade, in 2017 (winning Best Actor twice, as well as All-Star Cast), Nicky Arnstein in Funny Girl and Roy Cohn in the UIL One Act Play Angels in America (another Best Actor award to go with All-Star Cast).
“Evan began his acting career when he was six years old, asked for a mic and a beard and was on his way,” said CPHS Theatre Director Christine Hathcock. “He is an amazing young talent with a very bright future.”
