She’s a rare breed! Leander ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week Ashlyn Sanders has the hardware to prove it!
Ashlyn goes to Cedar Park High School where she competes with Future Farmers of America (FFA). In previous years, the junior has had many successes showing Market Goats. Currently, Ashlyn is raising three goats and three sheep. At the Greater Leander FFA Project Show, Ashlyn won Overall Grand and Reserve Champion goats, as well as Grand Champion Southdown lamb. She won a well-deserved belt buckle and several ribbons!
CPHS agriculture teacher Shannon Butler praises Ashlyn’s dedication and value to the Cedar Park Ag Program. She considers her one of Cedar Park FFA Project Center’s hardest working students.
“You can see in Ashlyn’s eyes how passionate and driven she is to succeed in the show ring,” Butler said. “She has such a kind heart and will help anyone who asks for it. She is a true team player!
All hooves up for Ashlyn Sanders–LISD CTE Student of the Week. Way to go!
