Senior Olivia Straus at Leander High School is the Leander ISD Career and Technical Education Student of the Week.
Olivia excelled as the design editor for Leander High School’s 2022-23 Lair Yearbook. At the Texas Association of Journalism Educators (TAJE) Fall Fiesta, she received recognition for a Superior First Year Photography. She also earned an industry-based certification in Adobe Photoshop.
“Olivia is a talented and passionate individual who has a thirst for knowledge,” Journalism and Graphic Design Teacher Lindsie Alley said. “She brings positivity and energy to every project she takes on, making her a joy to work with.”
