Leander ISD Superintendent Dan Troxell, Ph.D., announced Angela Hodges as the new principal of Steiner Ranch Elementary School on Monday, June 25.
“Angela is a dynamic leader who brings a vast amount of experience in best instructional practices and supporting achievement for all students,” Troxell said. “She is ready to build upon the incredible culture that has been established at Steiner Ranch and continue to enhance teaching and learning for all. I am confident she will maintain the strong culture of excellence already in place.”
Hodges began her teaching career in 2006 as an elementary teacher in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, later serving as an instructional coach and assistant principal in Pflugerville ISD, and is currently the principal of Windermere Primary in Pflugerville.
“I’m incredibly excited to be given the opportunity to join the Steiner Ranch community,” Hodges said. “I look forward to working alongside these talented teachers and students to continue the school’s tradition of excellence.”
Hodges earned her bachelor’s degree at Louisiana State University and her master’s degree from UT-Arlington.
