Congratulations to our talented students on their amazing achievements at this year’s UIL Theatrical Design Competition! This year’s entries were based on the show Axoloris: The Musical.
From Vista Ridge High School, Rebecca Chang is the state champion in the 6A Set Design category—an incredible accomplishment! Carly Klein earned a bronze medal in the Hair & Makeup Category, while Katy Berglund nabbed the 5th place spot. The team made up of Blake Browder, Aidan Coste, Maria Shimrith Palacio, and Leo Biech earned an impressive 5th place in Group Design.
Over in the 5A Conference, Rouse High School brought home honors as well. Darbi Shawhan placed 5th in Costume Design, and Savannah DeVille earned 6th place in Set Design.
